Wow... So many white people....
Wow.... Where is the Nsima?....
Wow.... pachoco pachoco, oepppssss, kalepas... what you don't understand me? why?...
Wow... So much food!!!!....
etc. etc. etc.
No I'm not used yet, but it will happen! There were a lot of things in Malawi which I will miss, but I am also very happy to be home!
Only, I am pretty borred, so everybody who wants to come by is welcome :) The only problem is that I don't have a mobile number now, so you will have to email me or call to the house phone, or do it malawi style and just come by :)
In the mean time I will be looking for a job and a master :) So if you know some place which is looking for people for 2 months, let me know!
Here, I also wanted to give a short update on the library... all you have missed from that last crucial weeks!
I am very happy to say that the library still gets around 5 people a week on average :) And even group 7 school children (around 12 years) come to read books (is mostly looking pictures). Everybody also have the tendency to 'read' the dictionary (both the english/english as the english/chitumbuka once). People also come to play games while their friends are reading and we have some regulars already who come almost everyday. Mostly to read schoolbooks, but also some children to look through books. Anyways, I am very happy :)
The peace corps boy, Brian, who leaves near by will take over the library. And with taking over is that he will supervise everything as to be sure no books dissapear and money (they want people to be able to borrow books) is spend well and also will not dissapear. I trust Brian for 100% so I was super happy that he could and wanted to help out!
My goodbye was very nice and I got a beautiful titendji :)
My pictures will follow soon and I will put the site on this blog.
I am hoping to see you all soon!
lots of love,
nienke
